For those of you who have watched a lot of New York GBB...

...where would you rank Breanna Stewart? Not asking you to project how great a college career she'll have, just if you've had the opportunity to watch girls like EPrince, Tina Charles, Chamique Holdsclaw, and so on (as there are many, obviously), how would you compare Breanna as a high school player to those young women?

The jury is still out. Stewart is upstate, everyone else you have named and pretty much all of the other outstanding New York players are from downstate. For as long as I can remember, there has been something of a bias. We were always convinced that the better ballplayers hail from downstate. All indications are that Stewart will be the exception to the bias. Let's hope so.

For the record, Rhonda Windham and Sue Bird are my all time favorite New York WBB players. Bird, as everyone knows is from Syosset but went to high school in Queens. The lengths to whch she went to challenge herself has had a lasting impression on me.
