OT: For those of (ahem) a certain age

I don't think that will ever change. I go through the same thing with my daughter daily. I don't even need to see her in person for it to happen, thanks to emojis. 😉
Three grown daughters. I know what you're talking about. (Even the dog was fixed...)

How about the "DA" -- sported by only the coolest tough guys of the '50s -- the greasy haircomb with the sides combed straight back to form a duck's ass in the back.

I thought DA was like earlobes - some people have it, some don't.

I so despise the slang word "BRO". My son stopped by tonight with his wonderful 10 year old daughter in tow. She's been back in school one week now, and all I heard was "Yeah, bro, we did that today". Or "the bus ride took too long bro", or "You should have seen that bro" yada yada yada.

I think I'm now sensing Princess Leah's desperation that was on display in the 1st Star Wars movie when she said: "Help Me Obi Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope"
Yeah I don’t like when females say bro to another female… or Bruh!

Am I alone in thinking "rizz" referred to "charisma" (charisma in general, not Charisma Carpenter for the Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans here)?
