For those who are Troy challenged, precious metals are measured in troy ounces, of which there are 14.58 to the pound, whereas feathers are measured by the avoirdupois standard of 16 oz. per lb.
I read that in a book I purchased at the book fair when I was in seventh grade. I also learned the answers to the following, compelling questions. Anybody know these?
