I've seen Maryland and Baylor send out an End of Decade Tweet for their Women's BB Programs. What Tweet would you write for UConn's accomplishment over the last 10 Years? You have to stay within 280 Characters, which is the max for tweets. I think it would be difficult. Do you go with Player Accomplishments, team accomplishments or a combination of the Two. Presume you can only send out one Tweet.

" If you think the last decade of UConn Basketball was dominant, wait till the next decade"

'10 years ago, we had geno, how did that work out? today, we still have geno, how will that work out? a happy new year to all, and to all non-husky fans, it's over, so good night.'

10 years

3652days,87,600 hours,5258880 minutes,315567360 seconds and just 17 losses, almost 3 of these decades without losing 2 in a row,and the Uconn team and fans expect the next decade to be better.

Math check. Based on Days 365*10+2 (leap years) =3652. All others follow from simple multiplication factors. Days and Minutes correct, Hours and seconds incorrect.:confused:

Perhaps @pacific 44 was calculating in Pacific Standard Time, which is way different than UConn time. Not to mention that over a decade there have many jumps to Daylight Savings and back, which confuses things even more. Given these crucial facts, it is reasonable to assume that both calculations are within the margin of error. ;)

In the 2010's the best women's basketball program in history got better. And set records that are beyond the imagination of other programs. Except for UConn in the 2020's. Just wait.

So you argued for points on your exams growing up by making your teachers dizzy. ;)

No , not really. It was their job to point out any deficiency in my work. And I think they took no delight in it on the rare occasions when it happened. Unlike some pedantic spoilsports lurking in the shadows! ;) I think old 44 was just using a surfeit of stats to belabor the point that UConn fans are hard to please. I doubt he plans to calculate the trajectory of a rendezvous with the ISS. However, if he does choose that path, I will be staying here on earth!

In our chase for perfection..........the best is yet to come!!!
A tip of the cap as your word was my first thought before I read it, as for mine.

No player, coach or team will ever achieve perfection, be flawless or impeccable but that will remain the goal!

Well, since you asked, I'll do mine in a different way. :D

A mighty foe, that team from Storrs sauntered into Maples. 90 was no streak to sniff at, but our Trees led by Pohlen decided that 90 was quite simply enough and delivered a belated Christmas gift. The success gave way to dismay, as UConn snatched a few wins in a row. It was all doom and gloom when Breanna Stewart strolled in with storm clouds, but with a calm swish of the net from Orrange, UConn's perfect season was doomed and yet another streak was snapped by the beloved Cardinal.

Breanna Stewart: 4 National Championships in a row.

You have more characters:

Breanna Stewart, Moriah Jefferson, Morgan Tuck: 4 National Championships in a row Beat that.

The issue I have with the tweets that focus only on the four straight national championships, is that it ignores a pretty impressive six years, including two historic winning streaks, 6 Final Fours, and a national championship. The last decade included more than Breanna, Moriah and Morgan, wonderful as they were.

10 years
10 final fours
5 championships
0 bad losses (losses to teams that finished the season unranked)
