Looking for some help here. I attended many uconn games as a student, but none since I graduated about 6 yrs ago (my bad).
Looking to hop back on the football bandwagon on Saturday, have a few questions, hoping some of you can help:

1) Currently, what are best deals for gen admission tickets?

2) If I buy for a group, do I have to get them all in the same purchase to ensure we're seated together? (Sorry, I was used to student section tix and never had to worry about this).

3) What's the best lot to park/tailgate? Any tips?

Thanks everyone. Let's fill the rent!

1) There's a promotion going on right now for $15 a ticket.

2) No.

3) Blue lot?

Appreciate the response Butch.

I have no extras, but people here generally will give away extras for no cost. Not sure how many you need though.

You need a pass for the Blue Lot. My suggestion is the Aero Club across the street. It's not run by the LAZ clowns and you have a lot more freedom (charcoal grills allowed). That would be my suggestion.

Thanks for the input Jimmy. How much is Aero club parking? Is it a fun atmosphere? Any other paid lot options like the default lots?

$15 tix are a great deal. Not gonna knock Blue Lot, but you probably won't be able to park there unless you find someone selling that pass. I'm quite happy in Gray Lot, but your best bet may be the Pratt & Whitney Aero Club (the softball fields across Silver Lane from the Rent). Just show up, pay, and park.

As far as tix, if you call the ticket office in sure they can accomodate you.

Yeah I'd do Aero Club or Silva's on Silver Lane. I'd give you my extra ticket, but it's a student admission

Thanks for the input Mike. Is there a pass needed for Gray lot? How much is that compared to parking @ Aero club? I have a small gas grill would I be able to bring it to both lots?

Also, what do you mean that the ticket office could 'accomodate' me?

I still have my student ID from 5 yrs ago but it's the one with the old logo :) I'll buy them legit... try to get a friend to go to the game with you!

AWESOME! Good job getting to the Rent on Saturday.

You can find and pick your own seats here: http://ev9.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncomm...linkID=uconn&shopperContext=&caller=&appCode=

If you use promo code 'FRONTIER' or 'THANKS', tickets are $15. You are able to get seats together for you and however many friends are coming with you. Search both promo codes...there are different sections open for each promo code.

As for parking, I too would recommend the Aero Club.

Have fun and Go Huskies!!

You can bring a gas grill to any lot. If you don't have a pass the only lot you can park in on the property is red lot. It's a much better time in the Aero Lot. The cost is the same ($15).

If you have any particular seating requests that you can't quite get right via the ticketing website, if you talk to one of the agents, they can probably work with you to sit groups of tix together and such.

Yes, you would need a pass for Gray Lot as well - PW Aero Club is really your best bet without a parking pass.

Thanks everyone for the helpful input!

1) Buying online, use the "Promotions" link and use code 'thanks' for $15 tickets

2) It depends. Usually the promos will only allow 8 at a time. If you use a code, you usually can't pick your seats, but should be in or near the same section. You'll probably have to pick between having the seats all together (choose the "search across multiple rows" option) and paying full price, or getting cheaper tickets and risk being separated... HOWEVER... if there are only 25-30,000 people, you won't have a hard time sitting together, you'll just have to find a section with enough space.

3) Pratt & Whitney Aero club is $15, a short walk, and they'll let you save spaces for people coming later. You can also throw a football and play your typical drinking/tailgate games. If you all get there the same time, and want to party with a younger crowd, then red lot. But you'll have to deal with a longer walk, more restrictions in what you can do, and definitely no saving spots for late arriving friends.

Much appreciated advice.

I always park at the daycare center right across from the entrance. $10 and you can do whatever you want there. There isn't much if any grass, though.

$15 to park at the Aircraft Club.

They raised the price to $15 last year.

.-.
I paid $10 3 times this year... at least I'm 99% sure. I personally only paid for parking once
I'm 1000% positive that it is $15. They increased the prices in PP's last season, the year Michigan came to the Rent. Has been $15 ever since then.
