So is Nunzio not the OC? Edited to answer my own question, as Marquel Blackwell is the new pass game coordinator. However, I will add some of the people expected to follow Candle from Toledo have not come over as of yet.

Blackwell - 2 years as co-OC/QB coach with Houston. 2 seasons (‘16-‘17) as Toledo RB coach with Candle. St. Petersburg, FL native. USF QB, then some pro QB playing exp (brief NFL, CFL, indoor in 4 years). Predominantly, RB coach 9ish years (Toledo, WVU, Houston, Ole Miss, A&M, USCe).

Looks like the reason he was let go at South Carolina is because he wasn’t able to bring in a 5-star caliber RB back to back years. Won’t have the same recruiting pressures here and can get back to coaching his natural position

Besides Kashif, I haven't heard that any of these other coaches will be following Mora to Colorado State. Sis I miss something. If they're not following him and they don't land somewhere else, it kind of sucks for them that they are looking for work. I wish them all well and that they find a nice landing spot.

From his biography on the Washington State website, he worked with Candle in the past.

Cashmore served two previous stints at the Division I level, serving as special teams quality control at Toledo from 2016-17 and as a special teams coordinator and offensive graduate assistant at Oklahoma State for two seasons (2018-19). Toledo captured the 2017 MAC Championship and Cashmore coached two all-conference performers on special teams.

Cashmore: Ex-Toledo ST GA (‘16-‘17) with Candle.

In less than a year, moves 1/2 way across country from South Dakota State to Wazzu (following SDSU coach who recently left Pullman for Iowa State) to move all of the way across country to rejoin Candle.

Interesting background, some MW JCs, NAIA D2 Midland (NE), Toledo GA, OK State GA, D2 Pittsburg (State) in Kansas, SD State, Wazzu, on the road again to Storrs.

Unfortunately that’s the career they chose. Most earn much more than they can in the private sector so it is not easy to give up.

Nunzio has strong Don Bosco and Bergen Catholic ties, that alone is a huge plus with his hire.

His brother is HC at Bergen Catholic and he was former HC at Bergen and assistant at Bosco. His youngest brother is also a Hc in Nj. Very well connected in North Jersey football

Edit: @UCMB88 correctly adds Brock back to MS State in very Starkville, and Cummings-Morrow rejoining Matt Campbell with Penn State.

However, some guys shifting to CSU potentially may end up with more responsibilities in Fort Collins, e.g., upgrade from position coaching role vs GA analyst.

The coaches know when there's changes at the top they'll be vulnerable, but it's still tough to be out looking for a job in early January when those likely to hire you are focused on the portal and retention.

I believe it's been noted here he is going to CSU with Mora.
