Florida St @ Texas - 12/17/17

Well, it's safe to say that this Texas team today looked like there was a coach at practice and on the bench.

Texas looked much much better today. Boothe’s potential is sky high with her size, strength, handles and quickness. If she can learn better shot selection, shed some weight and position herself better defensively...she’s gonna be scary good. The combination of her, Holmes and Collier could be incredible in a couple of years.

I don't think Bballnut was insulting her but instead gave her a compliment.
 
I got a feeling that come tournament time. There aren't many teams that will want to see Texas in their bracket.
 
Aston really turned this team around since the Tennessee game. My hat's off to her.

There's nobody not on the UConn roster I enjoy watching more than Brooke McCarty.

The announcers mentioned many times during the broadcast how she and Alix had known each other since the AAU days. I ran across this picture of McCarty and Dominique Dillingham from their AAU days:

Wow! Was that the same Texas team that played in the Tennessee game? Texas has a lot of athletes, and looked pretty darn good today. After the Tennessee game all I could think was overrated. Now I'm confused.
