Leticia Romero not playing today because of hamstring issues. Florida State will need her against UConn's pressure. (Monday 6pm espn2.)

Romero is not expected to play Monday. JS shot phenomenally well from 3 and just awful from 2.
Florida State won the 3rd quarter big but lost if you take that quarter out.
JS was predicted to finish in the bottom half of their conference this season. I'm cautious but not worried.

The announcers during the game stated that Romero is dealing with an ankle issue and is expected to miss the first few games of the season.

Looking forward to the start of the season. I wish Romero a speedy recover, but this is not one of those seasons where I'm rooting for every team to face UCONN at full strength. And as usual, with SO many questions about the team post Stewie et al., I want every edge we can get.

I wonder if even Geno knows who the starters will be for FSU at this point. The starters were different for each of the exhibition games. Going to be a fun year if you like close games, uncertainty, and potentially multiple UCONN losses!!
