Did Baldwin regress? While she wasn’t a finished product, she looked good for a freshman last season.

I hope Nicoletti is able to work her way back. She was so much fun to watch pre-ACL injuries.

I don't think Baldwin has regressed, but she just isn't very quick, she is slow. If she is under the basket she will do well, but everyone else on the court is more athletic than her so she is rarely under the basket. I agree about Nicoletti, I am very hopeful! She has hit a couple of nice 3s the last couple of games and seems to be gaining confidence.

Wait, what? All those freshman guards, ANY coach would take over Puisis and twice on Sunday. That’s ok though as all these guards listed were top 12 recruits with the exception of Leger-Walker who wasn’t ranked in the top 100.

That said, FSU should elevate players games, especially highly ranked players (For FSU anyway) like #30 Baldwin and #38 Puisis as that’s what programs build upon. Sue Samrau has done fairly well, with 16 of 23 years in the NCAAT and 3 Elite 8s, 2 Sweet 16s but if she and/or the program want to achieve more, she/program need to get more sooner from these recruits.

Both of yall are right, she should be more developed and producing higher stat lines. I will say Morgan Jones is a completely different player this year as a junior than her previous two, she can take over games in small stretches.

Jones and especially Jackson were impressive in the Louisville game. Weber had her moments. I was just really surprised that the trio of Puisis, Baldwin and Nicoletti, all of whom I remember generating some recruiting buzz, combined for 3 points in the game (in 62 minutes of PT).

Baldwin is slower than molasses. She has been bad.
