I couldn’t agree more with Stewart just standing at 3. I point out to my son who is Stewart’s biggest fan.
Well he sets some nice screens out there. LOL! Stewart is at best an average 3 point shooter. I really do not want him or Ross taking 3s unless wide open. The thing Stewart can do is drive to the hoop and use skillset to get to the hoop or make some nice pases inside to Reed/Reibe. I do not think Hurley has told him not to do that as the less skilled offensive player Ross is more active going to the hoops. It seems mental block that Stewart needs to get past so he can be more aggressive. He could be a great secret weapon if he could. We do not have anyone as big as him who could beat his man and score on the team.

I love Stewart's game. He right now and I guess his entire career has been deferring to other UConn players on the court. Yet he really brought the hammer down vs MQ a couple years ago in MSG and hit a big 3 vs FL which was a catch and shoot confident take. Stew is a really good inside passer to our bigs. He is a great role player and those guys help win titles.

I love Alex but man 2 rebounds and one of those was off their bigs missed free throw at the end. He needs to crash the boards. Can’t have our 4 with only 1 rebound most of the game.
I noticed the same thing. AK was doing a lot of switching on defense, but he frequently switches onto a guard rather than onto a forward or center. The guard drags him away from the basket and he’s not anywhere near the basket to grab a rebound.

Interesting where UConn players fall here given the narratives of the past few weeks

Especially since he only put names on about 60 players. UConn has three of them, including...

Sanogo didn’t start doing this until late junior year. Let’s have some grace with Reed. Hes not anywhere near as bad as Sanogo was with this.
Even then, Sanogo had like 50 assists, total, in 22-23
