Considering Butler manhandling Florida today, we might need to temper our enthusiasm a bit. Xavier and Florida are now out of the top 25. We need a signature win vs Indiana and/or Villanova. The good news is we have time to develope and get better as the season progresses.

Butler is legit. Most rankings have them right outside the top 10 now.

No disrespect to Florida on this loss. Butler is better than their ranking and Florida was away as well. Of course would’ve loved for Florida to get the good win and make our win look better, but they’re still a top 30 team and will reach the top 25 by the end of the season

The Midwest teams are pretty much always good. When dopes like freescooter and Pal talk about how weak the originals are they never bring up the Midwest teams. Honestly, they may not even know they are a part of the conference. Xavier, Butler, and Marquette show their strength through several coaching changes.

Not sure what everyone's expectations are this season, but I just want to see the ship completely turn around. Right now we are certainly turning.
I expect a couple of years to reach our destination, but the ride is much more enjoyable these days.
