Any word about signing up for Flo Sports for the 2 games in November? 11/25 &11/27. I went on the Apple Store to look at ratings for this app. As usual, mostly bad reviews on video and audio quality.

Did any of our games last time end up on YouTube on replay?

FloHoops has a Youtube channel but I am not sure what factors come into play when it comes to timely replays.
As far as a subscription, just visit their website to see if there are any deals. They do stream lots of other games during the season, so they may offer something.

We used to do end runs around FloHoops, but they've wised up. We'd subscribe, watch the games, then unsubscribe for under $20. OR, if we were new to the site, we could get 7 free days. Must we now pay for a full month before we can watch the games? It's $30.
Are these games worth it?
Are either of UConn's prospective opponents a problem? Are they ranked?

I apparently am a slow learner. Two years ago i thought I was signing up for a year of FloSports for (as I recall) $8.95/mo for a years subscription with the option to cancel anytime. I was surprised to see that my credit card was bills immediately for the full year cost! I expected a charge for only $8.95. I got a hold of them and explained what had occurred. I was told they would cancel if I wished but I would still have all programming available until the end of my current paid subscription! This at the time seemed dumb - pay for a year, cancel and get nothing back as if I had not cancelled so I agreed to keep the year. One year later I was again shocked to see i had just p[aid for another year because I had not cancelled before the end of my agreement. Last December I cancelled it and it still worked until November 9. Be VERY careful what you sign up for because once they have your money NONE of it will ever come back - it just pays for the entire subscription obligation. A pleasant surprise was that I could watch and at times enjoy watching the Big East Women's games for everyone EXCEPT UConn.

Why am I a slow learner. I just did a monthly subscription for a ridiculous price of $29.95 for one month. I made sure that I would only pay for one month (at a time) but now I know it will keep happening every month until i expressly cancel before the payment is processed. I will cancel before 12/16/2024!

These people are such weasels! Thanks for the warning.

Last year someone here mentioned some relationship between Flo Sports and Villanova which basically cut the monthly rate in half. I unfortunately don't remember the details but I did get to see our two games for $15.

Hopefully that same deal will be available and the same boneyarder (or some other byer in the know or with a connection at the Villanova Athletic Department) will let us know if this is again possible.

I tried Flo-hoops and was very dissatisfied with it I tried to cancel my subscription after a couple of days and wanted a refund of the charge and got the run-a-round. I use American Express and explained to them how poor the service was and they refunded the charge to my card. American Express is great with protecting their card holders.

I did Flohoops last time and really didn't enjoy it (of course we lost to SC first game). I really don't know if I will spring for the 30 bucks, the reception was not top quality, and of course, the announcers were terrible. I really don't like to watch anything if they can't pronounce Paige and Genos name correctly. Still in the air, but I really didn't have a problem ending the service after someone on here explained the procedure. Obviously, I can't' remember, so I probably will do it, but maybe not. I hate Flohoops.

“… Those who use a .edu email from a member institution will be able to sign up at a discounted subscription price of $9.99 per month or $71.88 for the year ($5.99/month).”

So is Discover. I was not impressed with Flo Sports either. Between the bad audio and video, the commentators, and the (not their fault) the very poor condition of the floor; I was considering NOT subscribing for the month. Just really hoping that NO one gets hurt. Last year’s tournament, an LSU player was hurt in the 1st half. Tore an ACL and was out for the season because she slipped on the wet floor.
