With Savannah St. They have a horrible home schedule. Murray St. Duke, BC, Wake , Clemson and Savannah St. Note they will honor the game with W.V. In Morgantown in a couple of years.

wow. well we just got temple so nothing we could do. see how easy it would have been though to get a game?

Not so fast. Uconn wasn't ever on FSU's radar because FSU needed a team to come to Tallahassee and Uconn needed a team to come to Storrs.

that was my whole argument a couple days ago chin. this year was a busted year schedule wise and we already had 2 bcs ooc games but neither was a impressive one. if the BE couldn't fill the slot then we would have to look around and many here wanted a home fcs game. The BE wouldn't let the league play a 4-2 home/away ratio so they would have evened out the h/a to 3-3 giving us 6 home games. my whole stink was that instead of playing fordham at home(considering our ooc was md/ncst +3 mac teams and no wvu) we should go down to fsu and bite the bullet now and get a return game in 2020(or w/e) as a thanks for the favor now. not to mention we get a shot at a big boy in the cf world and its a chance to prove to the acc etc...

i'm not gonna bother beyond that.

No uconn didnt need a home game, the BE would not have teams playing 2 home conference games and 4 on the road they would have moved games around and UCONN would have played SU, USF, or UofL at home again.

But UCONN could not schedule anyone until it was settled that the BE was not bringing anyone to replace WVU for 2012.

Edit: actually the slot that FSU scheduled savannah state was already filled up on uconn's schedule with NCstate so you are right Chin its unlikely that uconn could have ever been on FSU's radar
