Five years ago today, I was a guest of HuskyNan at the Fiesta Bowl for the UConn-Oklahoma matchup. It was at that point that I was given an official Boneyard pin and given honorary membership status in the elite Boneyard club.

I have posted on The Boneyard since the end of 2002. While we do not always agree, I want to thank all of you for being so welcoming to a Dukie. So many posters on this board have sent me messages of encouragement during Duke's rough losses or in difficult years. And I have met and spoken with so many of you on the phone and in person.

You are always welcome here - breath of fresh air and refreshing honesty on your team, and other teams for that matter. I have to say, as far as guests go, all the Duke posters on our board are among my favorites. It doesn't hurt that I really do root for the Duke women (in spite of their unfortunate coaching situation! ). The Duke men on the other hand - blech LOL!

Will second eric in saying that while Duke may not produce great teams on the court, and their graduates may only differ by the quality of restaurant in which they aspire to serve, the school does produce really high quality visiting posters.
