  1. CT
  2. Duke
  3. OK St
  4. CO
  5. Dayton
And Dayton is losing.

Colorado is a nice surprise this season. Third-year coach Linda Lappe has certainly had a positive impact on the Buffs.

Only UConn and Dayton have played schedules so far with SOS in the top 100, and Duke, Colorado, and OK St have played a combined 4 games against top 50 teams and a total of 9 road games, so it's not that surprising that they have put up good records.

Colorado beat #8 Louisville on Dec. 14th. For a team that was 13-17 overall three seasons ago, color me impressed. We'll seehow the Buffs fare against Stanford this coming Friday.

You would at least have to give the Buffaloes a good shot at a March tourney selection with two games each vs. Stanford and Cal to boost the SOS and a likely winning PAC 12 schedule. Interestingly, they have two of those testers at home in their next two games, and if they can beat Louisville at home they look to have a decent shot against Cal. And then after that they have an odd back to back with Utah. A lot will be determined about Colorado through the first weekend in January.

Dayton has a good coach. They played UConn last year (?) to get better.

And then there were four.

Wow, 25 point loss by Dayton, that's a bit of a surprise.
