Watching the Louisville TV commercial, did UConn get a new one this year? I missed the game on Saturday - had to be in the car :(

Well they needed that. They get the ball back for the start of the 3rd quarter.

Mario Cristobol can coach. That guy has a great future in front of him.
I'm thrilled that we landed coach P but Cristobal was at the top of my wish list last January.

Cristobal will be coaching an ACC, SEC or Big East school a year from now. I would hate to see him on the banks of the Raritan, but it is not out of the question.

As for the game, Louisville is moving the ball well, and other than a couple of mind numbing mistakes on D, Louisville is controlling on defense too. I still think Louisville will pull this out, but with a team this young, they are going to keep making big mistakes. There could be another 50+ yard TD or two for FIU this game.

Stein is an adequate QB, nothing more. Bridgewater is no where near ready to play. He can't even make a handoff correctly. Victor Anderson has lost about 3 steps. He used to be explosive, now he is a shifty guy getting the most of his ability.

I'm sure Todd Orlando's knowledge of the Louisville roster doesn't hurt

Louisville doesn't look very sharp.

I can't believe that Ben Stein is their QB.

Well....the D-line seems to be doing ok.

Strong is not a great X's and O's coach. He gets his teams to play very hard, very aggressive, and with good fundamentals. Fundamentals are hard with a young team, and Cristobal is eating his lunch right now with adjustments. Strong's blitzes are not fooling anyone, and it may be time to back off on them a bit, because the single coverage is letting FIU dink and dunk down the field.

The 'Ville getting dogged at home by a Sun Belt team? Ouch.

Their fans must be taking it well.

doesn't Hilton know that only Larry Taylor can fake a fair catch against Louisville?
