Yes. of course UConn doesn't deliver all of NE much less upstate NY. More like 4 million regionally plus a few million casual fans nationally.

To get to the B1G we'd have to go with 1 or 3 of UVa, UNC, Kansas, Ga Tech, Notre Dame. If UVa and UNC go as a pair, then we're really dependent on Notre Dame going B1G, or the B1G liking Ga Tech or Kansas a lot. If UNC decides to stick with the South, UVa decides to follow Md, and Notre Dame stays independent, then we're in good shape -- I think we'd be likely to come in with Virginia.

ct is 3.5 we carry that
mass is 6.4 we have enough alums/fans in boston to get action in that market. springfield and worcester are local enough to uconn also to get action.

thats 10mil of the total right there. now throw in RI and the rest of new england as u please with markets we touch. then go and ass in wc and pk in ny which we do well in. the tv #'s are there for us. throw out the hook jim!!!

either uconn or bc locks up 10 of the 13 mil pop so no need to add both i dont think. thats why its a race between us to. the only way i see both is if unc says no to the b10 and goes to the sec. but even then i would think 1 new england team and then cuse gets a look instead.
