Are we going to be able to watch these games? I noticed that all of them are on ESPN3 and Full Court. So we have to watch them on the computer?

If you want to watch any particular game in full, you have to watch it on ESPN3. Otherwise, it's whiparound coverage on ESPN2.

Yeah, typical whiparound for ESPN. CBS has access to 4 channels and uses all of them to show men's games, while ESPN has about 6 channels. 1 for a women's game whiparound and the other 5 to TALK about the Men's Tournament. (Of course I exaggerate slightly, but that's what it feels like sometimes :)). One must admit there isn't much likelihood of seeing multiple 14 over 3 upsets as in the Men's Tourney. Sad but true. If you don't have ESPN3 you have to rely on the efficiency of ESPN to switch to a close game. Unfortunately they don't have a great record of making those switches in a manner that pleases too many people. Why - probably because they just don't care enough.

In a way I understand the first round with so many games being played at the same time, but after that it mystifies me - there may be only 8 games to play in a given day, for example, but 4 of them will be on at the exact same time. Seriously ? they can't spread them out a bit so people can get to watch more of them?

Tell me about it. I agree with you. Unfortunately it's a supply and demand world and I doubt the TV ratings for WCBB match OUR hunger for it on this Board. If people don't watch enough the coverage will be minimal.

Would more fans watch NCAA Wresting which is on ESPNU or if ESPNU was showing a Women's tournament game? Not sure of the answer, but probably the NCAA would prefer ESPN televise Wrestling like they are.

Or the Poker shows. Or Cheerleading competitions , etc, etc... The programming totally baffles me too. They just want to be all things to all people.
It's good thing they didn't get the rights to the Men's Tourney. They would use all their channels for that and we would never see any Women's games. OR they would start coverage at midnight (LOL)

DUKE up by 1 over Albany at halftime - JEEZ

So? Visiting teams should just be glad they have a place to meet inside and aren't out in a tent during a blizzard.

Supposedly one of the biggest advantages (along with Bill Russell) that the old Boston Celtics had over their opponents was the horrifically hot and cramped conditions of the visitors room at Boston Garden, which could wilt any top team and suck the life out of any second half rally.

Intentional pun?
