First Night Livestream

I have a feeling the audio issues are a blessing. I just cannot get over how D league UCONN is with everything they do.

Dang,...being an ex sound and music guy, the audio up and down....man ...put someone behind that sound board that knows somethin! Wow, ur killin me smalls..... :} ...lookin forward to a game...:)
 
I turned it off. Unless I’m mistaken one of the female players missed a normal dunk 3 times and somehow won in a head to head dunk contest round against Brendan Adams who went through his legs and dunked on first try. There were no judges. The emcee “Conor” from the yardgoats gave it to her based on crowd noise. Kwintin was good but Whaley did a normal 2 handed dunk on his turn. Really weird overall and not fun to watch.

Circa 1995, a result like this would have led to some Woke letters to the editor of the Courant arguing Calhoun should bench Ray Allen for her.
 
Tried to stay positive but the events are horrible. I hope they learn something and maybe just run some drills next year. Or maybe a game of horse.

The event has always been somewhat lame at times. But this is awful. Would have been better if they did nothing.
 
I really really really hope the recruits on campus this weekend get the Louisville treatment after this. Gotta impress them somehow. First Night looks depressing this year.
 
If you aren't going to go all out then don't do this stupid exercise (IMHO)
Its an embarrassment not only to the real fans but to casual fans and worse of all - to any recruits
I hope Coach Hurley opens his eyes to realize that this is not a good picture at all
If Geno and his team like it - let them have their own
This time is better used for one of those ridiculous closed door preseason scrimmages
They should be playing PeeCee tonight for charity

ya well the NCAA wouldnt allow a 3rd game, they would have to drop one of their EXH games for a PC EXH charity game.
