you know damn well they will. They're hungry for a GOOD team. Not football.Students better show. At least it's on TV for once.
Damn!I better not post in this thread. Don't want to get caught casually being interested in this.
Because the live event is limited this year to students only, we'll be gathering for pizza at @Stinger92860 's, right?I can’t wait!!!! This is the highlight of the season for me!!!! Barely even watch any of the actual games.
I’m down. I’ll bring my kid’s fisher price hoop. I like to reenact all of the dunks from the dunk contest.Because the live event is limited this year to students only, we'll be gathering for pizza at @Stinger92860 's, right?
Enjoy, have fun.I can’t wait!!!! This is the highlight of the season for me!!!! Barely even watch any of the actual games.

Also the highlight of the season.A branding and marketing event for UConn BB and a fun event for prospective recruits and our freshman.
And a preview for the fans of things to come.
It won’t work this way, but if one literally follows the mandate “UConn Students Only”, how can recruits attend? The reason given, is safety (just as not playing football last season was about Covid “safety” not Randy collecting another year of pay). So why are we putting “safety” at risk by inviting recruits? Chief is glad that we are inviting recruits, but let’s stop the BS. If not playing football was about “safety”, that effort was a failure since about 30 players tested positive last season. If not inviting the “Casual Fan” to First Night is about safety, why can we charge the “Casual Fan” thousands to attend games starting a several weeks later? What happened to safety?A branding and marketing event for UConn BB and a fun event for prospective recruits and our freshman.
