Rewatched the painful first half with emphasis on boxing out & it was clearly a team problem.
Totally missed box outs where player they were covered got uncontested rebound: Bazz (clearly hurting this game) and Boat
Player late on box out and then lacked the strength to keep their player off the board (often Zanna):
Phil Nolan, DD and Omar
Boxed out but didn't make enough contact to move his player back:
TO once against Adams, DD, Wolf, Giffey
Challenged the opponents shot but didn't spin quickly enough to box same player out:
TO...again against the much larger Adams
For this team, with their lack of height and bulk, boxing out needs to be a constant focus...ten toes in!
