i saw something last night that i haven't seen all year. it gives me a small bit of hope about this team slowly improving but i'm not claiming anything. anyway this is what i was seeing-then saw last night.

most of the year what i was seeing was the pg with the ball up top and when the 2g was lamb he would either hang out on the left or right without movement. the only movement ever was a quick curl or a cross baseline run and pop out. most of the time it wasn't ran with urgency so it results in a deep lazy 3 or nothing.

if boat was the 1 and bazz 2 then what i would see was boat and bazz pass it back and forth up top and when boat would get the ball bazz would drift to a corner and step back, really not move at all. and this is with jl on the other side of the court doing the same. same old story this year with the whole movement thing and sets. a jc offense needs that 2g to be running around like a maniac making plays/cutting/picks and so on but its just not happeing and its fustrating to watch.

so during the prov game i saw boat at the 1 and when bazz moved over to the left side of the court to pass the ball back and forth he instead cut baseline and picked the center guarding ad and boat hooked up with ad for a quick 2pt alleyhoop. thats a simple play that we should run all dam day with jlamb picking center at the 2g. then i think the next time down the court, jl ran a good looking route got the ball and took it to the hole.

the question every fan is asking? how come we don't fully run sets like that every time down the court if we can't run? how come we just stand around and then make excuses?
