Finalist for Naismith Coach of the Year.

Wow, no Amanda Butler, hmmm.

Schaefer getting a lot of love for another great season despite losing 4 (and another this season) starters.

I'm also surprised by no Dawn Staley.

That said, I'd be happy with Vic or Wes.

No Dawn, either. The So Carolina turnaround has been impressive
Nan - usually am in agreement with your observations, but, turnaround? From 28-8 last year, to 21-9? And, it isn't as if they don't have upper classmen playing, not to mention some HS AAs.

SC was 4-4 to end the season including a shocking loss to Arkansas in the SEC quarterfinals.

And two starters most of the season who weren't even in the program a year ago. And he doesn't just let anyone play because they want to. You have to defend or you don't play. That's why Andi didn't start a few games.

They have a much more veteran roster than one would assume. Their leaders in MPG are a junior, redshirt senior, junior, redshirt junior, a redshirt senior, and a senior.

This is a duplicate thread and the other one should be merged with this one.

Is there an Admin or Moderator monitoring this?

My original thought was Ionescu, but now I'm thinking Gustafson since she was ESPNW's Player of the Year.
