Final Olympic Standings. Do you think the Final Standings are a reflection of what the Actual World Rankings Should be.
1. USA
2. Japan
3. France
4. Serbia
5. China
6. Spain
7. Belgium
8. Australia
9. Canada
10 Korea
11. Nigeria
12. Puerto Rico
I'm surprised at the Final Standings as Spain, Canada were expected to do better in the Olympics. The Groups and Bracket play really impacted the Final Standings. In anticipation thata FIBA will approve Nneka, Chiney and Arike Ogunbowale joining Nigeria they will not be the 11th best team when the World Championships and the Olympics are next played.
It will be interesting to see which players are selected for the World Championships. The Bigs with the exception of Syvia Fowles are intact. But who will the Guards be as I see only Chelsea Gray as the only lock to make the team. Will Sabrina Ionescu play for the National Team or is she more suited for the 3 X 3 Game. Would Crystal or Moriah be considered as Sue's replacement.
