Your coach weighed in on the issue last week. Curious to see what the posters thought on the subject. 1) Should the NCAA adopt permanent final four and regional sites 2) which cities/arenas have done a good/great job at hosting 3) which cities/arenas didnt 4) which cities should the NCAA look at in terms of hosting future final fours ?

(1) No. I could see awarding, say, non-renewable 3-year contracts with the idea that multiple years might build some momentum in terms of fan interest, but I think more than 3 leads to complacency.

(2-3) Would have to recheck attendance figures. Not many have done great, especially anything out West - except maybe Spokane & Albuquerque. Sorry, but the Triangle sites have typically done terribly in terms of attendance. I can't recall about Greensboro.

Philly is a nice northeastern location but I bet both the arena, and certainly the hotels, are expensive and/or booked.

(4) Final 4s are never a problem - they always sell out. And I like moving them around - it exposes the sport around the country.
