I was surprised last year when I received an email from UConn to donors the day after we beat USC offering a sign up for final four tickets based on donor point levels (I am low on the totem pole in terms of donor points). I was surprised with the apparent low demand by donors as I ended up getting 2 tickets at a reasonable price. A bigger surprise was the tickets were lower bowl sitting close to player family members and among a bunch of prior players, including Maya Moore. This may have been an anomaly but I intend to follow this same approach this year.
