This is a picture of the Husky's arriving at their hotel in Minneapolis last night; about 12 hours ago. How did they get a bus with the UConn logo ready in Minneapolis? Was the bus prepped immediately after UConn won by a local company in Minneapolis? Did the NCAA have the local bus company prepare busses for every Elite 8 team? Ie. are there NC State logo'd busses in a garage somewhere? I'm probably too intrigued by this - but watching videos of UConn head to the airport at around 3:30 yesterday and then arriving in Minnesota at around 10:00 PM last night on UConn busses blew my mind.

The buses are provided by the NCAA, and on the front of them it says "2022 NCAA Women's Final Four" or something to that effect above their very Minnesotan license plates. The buses were chartered from Minneapolis based Lorenz Bus Service and were likely wrapped with team logos/colors over the last couple of days. While I have not looked, I imagine all four teams are getting this same star treatment and hoopla as it is paid for by the NCAA.

LOL!!! I had the same exact question. Posted on another thread "News coverage by local media".

"Look like friends and family members arrived at the same time. Love the UConn logo on the busses and on the doors. Wonder who provided the busses? NCAA? UConn? Seemed very well organized with plenty of staff."

Somebody mentioned that the NCAA pays and did all this. So the NCAA must be making lots of money of the FF.

Edit: hoopsfan22 provided a much better answer when I was typing.

UConn's bus was driven overnight, from the ESPN lot in Bristol CT, where it is kept for safe keeping, to Minneapolis.
I don't know about the other teams buses.
Kind of funny that ESPN gets all the heat when NBC Sports studios and headquarters are practically next door to the UConn campus in Stamford.

Stamford Connecticut to Storrs Connecticut is 101 miles Storrs Connecticut to Bristol Connecticut is about 50 miles so both close but not right next-door

I meant the UConn-Stamford campus which is one block from NBC Universal's studios in downtown Stamford, and maybe 2 miles from the NBC Sports headquarters next door to Chelsea Piers off of exit 9.

A bit of a reach I don’t remember seeing any games there

The video shows they were enter The Embassy Suites. And you can see "UConn" logo in the hotel's font doors.

Why are the Women staying at the Embassy Suites when the men are at the Ritz?
