Bria definitely the player of the game for UCONN, but also had 7 TO's. She has taken MUCH of her game to the next level -- especially on defense where I see amazing improvement this year -- and she played the entire 45 mins. But her entry passes and sometimes her crosscourt passes remain tentative at times.... and with the ball in her hands for much of the game, the turnovers were bound to start adding up. Still, she showed amazing heart and gave it all in typical "no hesitation" fashion.

Most truly great teams have someone like Bria Hartley playing for them. We're not there yet, but this team has still got a lot of basketball in front of it this year...

Bria Hartley played like an all American today. Her numbers were incredible...25 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists. If she keeps this up, she should be a 2nd team All American this year.

I posted yesterday that Bria is UConn AA #14. They will probably award second string this year, first next year.

I would have been much happier with only 6 TO's..... that last one where Diggins reached around and poked it loose was a killer.... But Bria definitely showed All-American colors last night, you gotta love her

haven't seen it YET (watching the 2nd half right now) Bria with 24pts with 9 minutes in regulation doesnt look good based on knowing that she had 25pts for the game)

You have to like Maggie Lucas second half for Penn State, too, as they tried to comeback. She scored 28 in the second half including 6 threes (7 for the game).

She has really stepped up her game this year and is much physically stronger and the team is setting screens for her and she is using them beautifully.
