I am on the record in a previous thread saying I didn’t care if Duke won the tourney given we’ve beaten them in a national title and final 4 games. However, it does feel good watching them choke on the big stage!!

Why? There is no reason to want to see Duke in the final. I wanted Houston and so happy they won. It will be a great Finals and I hope Houston wins!

Difference in 2004 was that UConn took the game from Duke and frankly UConn was the better team. They would have beat Duke by more of it wasn't for those two bogus foul calls on Okafor in the first half as they were on their way to giving them a whooping.
This game against Houston however was a choke job. I don't care if Duke was mainly lead by freshmen, they should have closed it out. Plus that foul call on Flagg was BS.

First McNeeley's vs. Memphis, now Cooper's. IMO two of the biggest calls of the season went against the Montverde boys. I'd like to see how our trajectory would have changed if we snagged that first game in Maui. Regardless, if we aren't going to win a chip....watching Duke lose one of the most heartbreaking games I've ever seen is a satisfying enough consolation prize.

Let's face it, that loss torpedoed the ratings for Monday's game. Not that I am complaining. I hope it's a great game no matter who wins on Monday.

Are you kidding me? Temery would have to deal with the Boneyard crashing. It would break records for 30 pages in 5 minutes. It would make the Seton Hall loss look like an extremely junior version.
