Thoughts on the final stats compared to your preseason expectations? What doesn't show in the box score but was integral to the team?

Personally I thought Hawkins would be around 13 PPG and Newton around 15, but not at all upset with the way it shook out between the two
Karaban and Clingan obviously outperformed my expectations
2 guys over 40% 3P, and 3 guys over 35% including Sanogo. Wow!

Once again the whaling and gnashing of teeth in October over 11 man rotations and how will the coaches be able to manage all this talent was whittled down to an 8.5 man rotation.

What do the stats and the arc this team took show us? Preseason rankings are more useless than ever. Unless you are a team bringing back almost all of your top players, we just don't know how transfers will integrate and how long it will take a coaching staff to figure out roles and rotations. It took Hurley 20 games to get it right. From then on, it worked well.

I'll go back and check my predictions from preseason. Without looking, I know I didn't have Karaban playing 20 mpg and being as good as he was this season. I'm confident I had Sanogo and Hawkins as the top two scorers.

This was a better 3 point shooting team than I would have thought. No way I had Karaban shooting 40% on that volume.
