3-1 to Liberty.
Not sure the last time that happened, but it's been a while.

Unlikely to make NCAAs (also 1st time in a while) unless they win BE tournament.

My mistake they did lose to Liberty last year as well!
But unless I've screwed up again, theyve made NCAAs every year since 2002.

I think Liberty is really good in field hockey. No shame there.

Good but not typically at uconn level. More notable is that it means ncaa chances are slim — will need to win conference tourney.

So they put together one of the most brutal non conference schedules I’ve ever seen. They lost all of them indicating they over scheduled. And it didn’t even toughen them up to be able to beat umass and temple late in the season. Under .500 and likely no tournament unless they win the big east. Curious start to Paul Caddy’s tenure.

.-.
FH finishes 11-11, second worst record in program history (8-9 in 2001).

If the football and mens soccer teams could be so lucky......................................
Field Hockey will return to their usual winning ways real soon

When was the last time we had a fall sports season where neither field hockey, men’s soccer, or women’s soccer qualified for the ncaa tournament?
