Mexico was outmatched by a USA team with five players scoring in double digits:

Arike Ogunbowale - 19
Joyner Holmes - 14
Asia Durr - 14
Kristine Anigwe - 12
Katie Lou Samuelson - 10

After the first quarter, when the USA team turned up the defensive intensity, the game was over. Sabrina Ionescu was again all over the floor. She took a 3 point shot from the left side of the court and retrieved her own rebound on the right side of the court. That play reminded me of Bre running the entire length of the floor for a monster blocked shot. Someone needs to work with Nancy Mulkey on running more fluidly. She is very aware on the court, and she knows how to pass the ball out of the post. She also needs to gain weight and get stronger, but she has lots of potential.

Ogunbowale was 7-10 from the floor, including 4-6 from three-point range. Nice shooting.

Can't say it enough...I love Holmes! She is going to be a great get for some coach.
