It was an interesting move by Kara who has generally denied interest in coaching to sign up for the 3x3 job. I suspect the big appeal was the very limited time commitment and it happening at a time of year where her major announcing work was in hiatus. Doing more USA basketball work especially at the age specific level might be more appealing than getting into the college game where it really is a 12 month commitment. I think a WNBA job might be more likely than a college one if she does want to pursue a 5 on 5 job.

I sort of hope she stays in the booth as she is so good there and I would really miss her. White certainly made the announcing/WNBA coaching gig work for a few years and spending your time around the college game while working the WNBA season has synergy - you are doing the draft scouting and cashing a paycheck at the same time.
