Heads up that the FIBA U-19 World Cup starts on Saturday. It's going to be pretty fun for UConn fans to follow, because: 1) We've got 2 guys in it, and while Reibe has played against American HS and AAU competition, we haven't seen Furphy play similar competition. 2) We can root for Team USA on top of Germany and Australia. 3) All the games are being streamed free on YouTube.

Thanks for sharing, @auror as this was totally off my radar until now.

For you early birds, USA plays Australia at 5:15 AM on Friday. Heck of a first game to see how Furphy shapes up against a USA squad headlined by '25 five-star recruits AJ Dybantsa (BYU), Mikel Brown (Louisville), Koa Peat (Arizona) and Jasper Johnson (Kentucky).
