It would be cool if a female made it. Doesn't seem super likely given the physical differences, but it would be cool.

Some years ago I went to a Colorado game and saw a kicker who looked strikingly different than the others. She eventually ended up at New Mexico and kicked a couple PAT's for the Lobos. Name was Kate Hnida. Unfortunately there was also an assault allegation later concerning her time at CU.

Yes she does look a bit different than the rest of the players
 
So can every above average male high school kicker in no pressure situations. I am not really impressed.
You should read the article before drawing conclusions. I'm not saying she's good enough for a scholarship at UConn, but the "no pressure situation" criticism isn't applicable.
