You can't have it both ways. YOU are now THE "Under Armor" school and there is no way Kevin Plank would let you have Friedgen a few more years. Live with that. I am not sure why Anderson thought Edsall was the pick of the litter. Most of us would say that, excepting some oddities, Edsall really was quite good at building a Program ... at our level. He got off to a rocky start at Maryland and was quintessential Edsall as we all knew he could be. As time went on, there was some notion that he could get them better. But, he fundamentally proved to not be a transformational coach at the ACC/B1G level. Just failed.

We do know that Maryland will think they can aim much higher and pay much more. That is yet to be seen.
