If I'm LIU I would feel like we have nothing to lose. We've been blessed with the opportunity to play against the 5th ranked team in the nation. The focus for them should be on giving a maximum effort for the entire 40 minutes, regardless of what the scoreboard looks like. That's no small challenge, espcially if the score gets way out of hand, which is likely what will happen. But if they fight and give it their all the entire way, they can hold their heads high.
For UConn, on the other hand, this is an opportunity to play a basketball game and continue to work on things, and hopefully get more minutes for guys (like Richie Springs) who normally don't get very many. What they don't want to do is get sloppy and unfocused because the competition is lesser. I don't think that will happen with this team.
