He had a few bad turnovers in crunch time when the outcome was still in doubt. He wasn't ready for a pass in the lane (recovered by Gobert), he had his pocket picked after a defensive rebound, and then he turned the ball over with an errant pass, all in the 4th quarter. I watched the second half and Gobert was giving him a lot of problems.

He only had 2 turnovers for the game.
 
This Spurs team is just insanely stacked. 11 to 1 to win the title on sport books right now seems like a solid bet.

That was 100% Grant's fault. Horrible pass, would have been better to try the shot there. It was a shuffle pass from like 2 feet away into Clingan's back.

I think responsibility is shared. The ball hit him in the back cause he was fighting for rebounding position. They were clearly not on the same page.
 
Portland had only one center and DC played 30 minutes in the first 3 quarters. He’s playing great for Portland. He’s making the leap now real time. They literally love him. There are young women in Portland saying it should’ve been them.
 
disappointing finish to the TWolves game but DC got some love from Tim Legler on his latest pod, the All NBA pod with Legler and Mares is my favorite NBA pod by far. vid should be timestamped but jump to the 38:00 minute mark if it doesn't.

 
Liam nursing another ankle injury - I hope this stuff doesn't become chronic - Charlotte is finally on track to becoming a solid organization and he can't get off the injury report.
 
When Castle was coming out of high school he played mostly below the rim. He was a good athlete was more known for his positional size, passing, smooth play. Now he’s one of the better players above the rim in the league. I wonder what he did in the gym off the court.

Did UConn even acknowledge a 10 year anniversary during the 2023-2024 season? I don't remember one, I'm surprised they haven't tried to retroactively credit the title to JC like we've seen fans do on here.
 


Has time healed wounds yet? Would be a dope emotional moment for the program to welcome KO and those hungry huskies back to be honored. Amazing run. Feels like they don’t get the Husky lore they deserve.

At the time that chip felt like it saved the program. Especially after being banished to the AAC

I guess you're right, I never really thought about it.

They are getting short changed. That's one of the coolest teams ever and they had the most impressive UConn tournament run ever in terms of taking out top coaches/programs.

The 11 and the 14 teams are probably my favorite of our chip teams. The actual 6 tournament games in both years were my most enjoyable runs, BY FAR. Shabazz and Kemba are on my personal Mt. Rushmore. I think Shabazz is somehow still underrated.

They beat all the pre-tourney favorites as well. I distinctly remember the entire ESPN panel picking Sparty.

Yes, because to go any deeper you have to explain why it had to be "resurrected" in the first place
 
2014 team -frequently the underdogs in the Tourney matchups-Took care of business vs HOF coaches on their way to NC. No denying the fact that it was a special group that had each other's back and believed in themselves. Hungry dudes.
