February UConn in the Pros

Trae when healthy is a very good Pg, and they have the athletic wing defenders to cover some of his flaws on that side of the ball. AD unfortunately may never be healthy, but that PnR with he and Trae, and Sarr as well, will be lethal. I think they will be good next season.
The problem is can AD ever play 50 games in a season again? He's made of glass which typically gets worse as you age and he'll be 34 this time next season.

Some of these multi-category stat facts can be misleading because they’re kind of arbitrary, but it’s a pretty good glimpse at the different ways DC can impact a game.

It feels like the Pistons are playing out of their minds and Wemby and Castle are a combined 4-16 shooting yet the Spurs are up 2 at half.

Cam also starting today (5 points on 2-4 shooting in first quarter). His shot hasn’t really been there lately, but he has 25 assists and no turnovers in his last three-plus games.

great sequence by Castle, blocked Cunningham on one end and then an and1 on the other

They can’t rebound with Wemby off the floor though. Kornet is already earthbound, but he is hurt too.

watching St Johns in 2024 I never would have though Daniss Jenkins would have a solidified role in the NBA, let alone on the team with the best record in the league. kinda wild that Pitino had an NBA backcourt at Iona, they probably had the 3rd most talent out of the teams UConn played in the 2023 tourney run.
