Guess we aren’t the only onesWow! What a game! Neither team can hit their FTs.
I agree wholehearted with your last point. It's night and day different the way this game or other Big 12 games I have watched have been called v. Big East games. The amount of contact they allow makes the game so much more watchable. No way UConn would have the fouls called on them with these refs. They are letting you be handsy, play with physicality, and not calling these cheap touch fouls. So refreshing to watch. Forget UConn watching this game, Big East refs should be.
No you are giving a rational take. These two teams specifically though. I can’t recall a team we’ve played recently that pressures like either of them, and we don’t have an excess of ballhandlers.
I was told these were high-level elite basketball teams.Wow! What a game! Neither team can hit their FTs.
Some very unKelvin like stuff there - Flemming falling, missed box out. That wouldn’t have happened with last years Houston as this team still plays a little young.Oh Sampson is pissed at not getting a rebound off a FT. Have to box your guy out before anything.
Our best road would be against teams that have never seen us.No you are giving a rational take.
I just have come to believe we are our own matchup nightmare for every team who hasn’t seen us yet. We aren’t exactly easy to game plan for. Especially in a tournament setting. I think that’s some of the reason why Hurley has been so dominant in OOC the last 3 out of 4 years.
They still have one?? For basketball? Men’s basketball??Lost by 37 to Duke tonight. If you want a reminder of how good we have it (seems like some of us do), read their message board. It’s glorious.
Yes, but to be fair, aren’t they a lacrosse school?Lost by 37 to Duke tonight. If you want a reminder of how good we have it (seems like some of us do), read their message board. It’s glorious.
Not blaming Flemming for falling. Seems more like bad luck than anything and he still got the ball to Cenac pretty impressively for an opportunity for a basket. Some very unKelvin like stuff there - Flemming falling, missed box out. Good outcome for the Huskies.
He’s still a very raw player - lots of potential. Not blaming Flemming for falling. Seems more like bad luck than anything and he still got the ball to Cenac pretty impressively for an opportunity for a basket.
Cenac was bad down that stretch from the airball off that pass and then his guy was the one who got the rebound off the FT. Made a typical mistake of not getting a body on someone and just standing in front of the rim hoping the ball bounces right.
Nah. they're just trying to get back their football glory days when Greg Paulus was their QB.Yes, but to be fair, aren’t they a lacrosse school?
#1Yes, but to be fair, aren’t they a lacrosse school?
He’s Jaren Jackson Jr coming out of MSU. I blame him not getting the rebounding gene that Izzo’s program teaches to him being a one and done. He’s still a very raw player - lots of potential.
So the 22-23 UConn team that was a 4 seed was by far the most talented team? Of course you’re saying this to discredit Hurley. I guess whooping every team in the tourney by 15+ is so easy, huh? Just unbelievable lol.Our best road would be against teams that have never seen us.
Hurley’s dominant runs in 23 and 24 were because those teams were that much more talented and better. Not the case this year.
It was because of all the athletes we had…..unlike this years teamSo the 22-23 UConn team that was a 4 seed was by far the most talented team? Of course you’re saying this to discredit Hurley. I guess whooping every team in the tourney by 15+ is so easy, huh? Just unbelievable lol.
This is easily the least talented team of the three, and if you don't see that, not sure what to tell you. 24 goes without saying, and 23 had an advantage at every position other than PG and the bench was so much better. They also played against a weak field, this years field is loaded. This year's team is going to have to execute with it's starting five.So the 22-23 UConn team that was a 4 seed was by far the most talented team? Of course you’re saying this to discredit Hurley. The Arkansas and Gonzaga teams we played that year were good, and both games were over by halftime. We put on a coaching clinic. This is easily the least talented team of the three, and if you don't see that, not sure what to tell you. 24 goes without saying, and 23 had an advantage at every position other than PG and the bench was so much better.
