We’ll see I guess. I think with the weaknesses of the Big East there are probably a few voters itching to rank us like #10 that we’ll drop to somewhere around 5-7.

Houston just looks better than BYU. They are up 8 with the ball with 3 minutes left in Provo.

BYU does a lot of foul baiting. If they run into the wrong officials in the NCAAT they could exit sonner than expected. They are a 3-man team.

As it stands only two teams undefeated (Zona/Miami) and two teams with a single loss this year (Michigan/St Louis), and only 6 teams with two losses.

Make or break time for Zona (@ KU, TT, BYU, @Houston) starting this week. UM gets their gauntlet starting a week later (@ Purdue, Duke (DC), Minnesota, @Illinois).

ISU and Houston also have pretty crazy ends of the year.

It’s not like it’s hard being a big man playing with AJ. They have one of the worst center rotations we’ve played all year.

Hell, give AJ the Perta kid from New Haven! At least he can shoot.

Duke should move up to #3. Sometimes a loss is just as good as a win. We all saw how good Duke is no matter what the score says.

up til last night's game, duke had been playing significantly better than uconn over the past month. For better or worse, the eye test matters. THey also have 8 quad wins to 5. Their florida, MSU, and KU wins match up about even with illinois, florida and kansas. We have the extra high-level win over BYU OOC, but they also just whacked a similarly rated louisville team by a significant margin. And they have an extra chance against Michigan for an elite win, which I htink is a toss-up at this point.

If both teams run it to the end of the season, Duke has the edge...and I'm not sure...
