I can only imagine what Hurley could do with duke's elite prep/camp pipeline. It's crazy that they don't win more.

I find I hate Duke less than I used to because they are a basketball school.

And then get one of the best defensive players in the country from an inter conference foe. When they have PN, Boozer, Maliq and Sarr out there that is an unreal defensive team.

You need a great lead PG to beat them.

Cadeau is probably the reason Michigan lost. So that checks out.

My hatred goes all the way back to being a little kid watching Seton Hall with my dad and watching the refs steal the national championship away from them and give it to Michigan. Now I'm stuck out here in Chicago with Michigan fans saying they're Harvard academically and they have the best football and basketball programs. Some fans on our board think it's flattery Michigan is getting compared to UConn '24, I see it as an insult.

I was actually slightly pulling for Duke which I've never done before but really wanted the arena to swallow up both teams and fanbases.

Goaltend was the right call, IMO but Duke was of course getting most of the calls throughout the game. They always do.

I get that. I started watching hoops early 90s so that didn’t affect me. I think their football fans are annoying but I actually root for JJ McCarthy for a couple reasons and I was sick of OSU. Then add in I love Coach Beilein and some other UM guys and I don’t hate them overall.

I love Flagg and Knueppel and still hate Duke. Nothing can really make me like them. The hatred isn’t as strong as in the 2000s though.

They've implemented a new but little known rule that gives Duke a bye directly to the FF. Teams in their region will be informed that they're unworthy of playing Duke but will instead be given a participation trophy for doing a terrific job this year.

I'm impartial here but you said you wished someone else would set up a BY meetup just so you could punch this guy in the face. In his defense, his response was his best post ever as he very calmly called your bluff and offered to meet you any time. I haven't seen you respond so unless you PM'd him to take him up on his offer, maybe lay off the constant bashing of all his posts. You can't keyboard karate, punk out, AND go on bitching.

UConn was really the only competition they had for the east 1 seed and we would have needed to finish undefeated or with 1 maybe 2 losses. Even then though we would have needed help with Duke losing like 5 games. To get that one seed. At the beginning of the year we were most likely looking at the 1 in the west again but arz being great this year changed that.
 
C’mon ESPN/AP. Since when is Michigan a Blue Blood in CBB?

Tournament will be completely wide open this year. 10 or 12 teams capable of winning of it all and ripping off 6 wins -or it will be a 7 seed like 2014 Uconn that no one sees coming.
 
UCLA gave up a 20-0 run to Illinois and is now winning with 12:00 to go.

Absolutely. From a likeability perspective, I do find them to be at the top of the list of the contenders this year.

If we aren't winning it, then I'd pull for StJ, then this Illnois team may be at top of the list. Wagler, is fun, the euro thing is different, and the coach is a cool dude.
