If St John’s ends up a 4 or 5 seed, they could be an interesting matchup against the Wolverines in the sweet 16 with their own 3 big lineup.

I am never picking SJU in the NCAAs again.

While Michigan is truly a tremendous team, I just never thought you can win against quality teams with this backcourt. Yes Smith can pass, but both he an Loyer are undersized and slow. Quicker guards kill them. Michigan is toying with them and getting anything they want.

Yeah St John's isn't doing anything against Michigan. St. John's mediocre perimeter shooting would hold them back and I think Zuby would get overwhelmed. Only chance St. John's would have is to force Michigan into turnovers.

I hate this argument that people make because if all those other #1, #2, #3 teams were "so good", then they would have just won their damn games and faced us. But they didn't. So don't hold it against us!

100% - the 24 team was all Edey. Smith/Loyer would have been a NC caliber back court in 1955.
