Before we get too down on the team's URI performance.....ODU beats Va Tech(supposedly the 13th ranked team)-they were ranked, pretty sure OVERRANKED). Locally they are calling for the head of Mike Bobo after CSU falls handily to Illinois State. It happens. At least we BEAT URI.

Illinois State was ranked 15th and they’re headed near the top ten after that win. No solace for CSU, but Illinois State is pretty good.

Not sure how ODU fits into the conversation — an upset, sure, but they’ve been FBS since 2014.

The Norfolk VA area is supposedly very fertile recruiting area. ODU has way lower academic standards than VT and UVA.
