Favorite Wedding Song

Jordy beat me to the Brooklyn Bridge. I remember seeing them do (probably lip-sync) it on the Ed Sullivan show and could barely hear anything over the screaming of the girls in the audience. Another depressing wedding song:

Sung at our wedding ceremony by my wife's niece. Possibly while we lit the unity candle. The other song sung at our wedding was The Prayer of St. Francis and we used the usual Wagner and Mendelsohn organ pieces, along with Trumpet Voluntary (by Purcell IIRC) for the attendants.

Our first dance was "Can I Have This Dance" - the version I know is by Anne Murray; we had a live band.

You are a shameless romantic.

Since I'm a professional wedding deejay this will be an easy one for me. I'll start off mainstream and then go off the beaten path later this afternoon before I leave work.

Bonnie and I got married 47 years ago this coming May 2. Our wedding song was "Both Sides Now" played on piano by our still best friend. It worked for us!
