Can't mention the 96 game without giving some shine to Ricky's defense on AI down the stretch. Absolutely ate him alive.
The 12-0 run was about Ricky and Kirk King. Ray's shot was just the topper.

One run that has remained inmy mind, despite its obscurity. 1989 first round tournament game against BU at the HCC.

If I recall correctly, BU was actually winning in the second half against the top seeded Huskies. But the switch turned on and Henefeld, Smith, et al went on a 20-something to zero run to decimate BU. The moment was typical of the team. Their press suffocated BU and it felt like UConn had 7 players on the court.

Two days later we did the same thing to California. The HCC was a delirious.

Perhaps my favorite run has already been mentioned: Kemba destroying UK and Squid in Hawaii. I have forgotten more than I remember, but UConn and great in-game runs is still part of our allure.
