I realize the vast majority of early rock n roll songs were under three minutes. I was wondering what short songs some of your personal favorites . Here are some of mine.

Second The Clash - White Riot...but the original UK version even though the more pop US version is still good. The Clash were incredible...Strummer gets a lot of the credit but Mick, Topper, and Simonon deserve to be recognized too.

Ticket to Ride clocks in at 3:10.

There are an unbelievable amount to choose from. I'll go with Break on Through by the Doors though on a different day I'd pick a different song. I'm feeling the baseline/organ today.


Maybe a more refined version of this is to pick your favorite short pop song and the shortest one wins. Or alternative the favorite pop song that is closest to 3 mins (or two minutes) etc.
