Favorite restaurant in Mohegan/Foxwoods ?

Looking to go for a dinner the following week in either Mohegan Sun or Foxwoods. In the past enjoyed Ballo Italian, MJ Steakhouse, and Cedars. Not sure where to go this time.

Recommendations to end 2023 ?

All three are good. I would add David Burke's Steakhouse at Foxwoods to that list

I had the Blackened Mahi-Mahi at Jasper White's that was just great. It's a good option if you don't want to spend a ton of dough.

Depends on the occasion.

If I want to blow massive bucks, it's Prime at Foxwoods or Jordan's at Mohegan. Both steakhouses.
Taking it slightly down a notch, it's Alta Strada at Foxwoods or Tuscany at Mohegan. Both Italian.
For just chillin or eating at the bar it's Hard Rock at Foxwoods or Lansdowne at Mohegan.

I now avoid Cedar's at Foxwoods. Dated and too pricey for what it is, especially when you can go to Prime for almost the same price. Both casinos have good food options IMO. I haven't even listed others that I like, but these stick out the most. I STILL haven't been to TAO. On my list.

I agree with both. The Mohegan casino is much better than Foxwoods, and David Burke is orders of magnitude better than Jordan’s.

I think that the restaurant offerings at Foxwoods are better overall.

David Burke had a steakhouse in Chicago that was awesome.

Funny story, my uncle came to visit me and asked the concierge at the hotel what steakhouses are good and they recommended David Burke's place. My uncle goes, "Oh he's my drinking buddy in New Jersey. I didn't know he has a restaurant in Chicago" He calls up David Burke and we get a reservation, a tour of how they age the steaks, and much of our meal comped.
