Besides Austrie and Olander, most of those guys were high level, close to NBA level players. Obviously, nobody here forgot about them but nobody here forgets about any player. For "fun to watch" or fun to root for guys, Tony Robertson and Kevin Freeman are a couple of my favorites.

Other players like Kromah and Giffey were such good team guys that helped UConn win a championship that they will never be forgotten. If Giffey ran for President of the United States, everyone here would vote for him. There's also cult heroes like Johnie Selvie, who didn't win championships on the court but won in the dorms.

Surprised nobody mentioned Tony Robertson yet. He always seemed like a good guy. I feel bad for him because of his timing. He came in the year after we won in 1999, and graduated the year before we won in 2004, so his career was sandwiched between two National Championships and never had a chance to play in the Final Four, even though he was on good teams.

3 of 5 starters on the 2009 Final Four team are forgotten Huskies?
