If our guys hold up their end of the bargain, this will be a bittersweet championship game for me. SDSU is probably my “second favorite” program, to the extent I have one.

I spent 6 years in SD, most of the time living five minutes from SDSU campus, where I spent much of my time. I used to enjoy attending basketball games in their on-campus arena, and watching Stephen Strasburg dominate at Tony Gwynn Stadium.

Having said that, I Bleed Blue through and through!!

Sucks for FAU. They outplayed SD. The refs suddenly called things SD way the final 4 minutes. SDSU doesn’t scare me at all

FAU should have trapped him with ~2 seconds left. There wouldn't have been time left to pass and get a shot off.

That was like a 70% win probability added shot right there, and like a 30% championship probability added shot. We haven't seen too many of that magnitude at this stage.

Yeah this isn't a correct take on the situation. The SDSU player elbow'd the FAU player in his diaphragm. He reacted with gesticulating arms, but soon after went to his knee because he had his wind knocked out of him. This on a stoppage of play. The definition of a technical foul.
